About me

I’m Joey—your hair and makeup artist and licensed cosmetologist here on the beautiful island of Roatan.

I’ve been in the beauty industry for over 20 years. Originally from Colorado, I owned a hair salon before trading snow for sunshine. I spent 13 amazing years living in Hawaii—first on Maui, then on Oahu—before relocating to Roatan in 2025.

I now live on the island with my partner Michelle Peedee and our cat, Boo. I’m outgoing, friendly, and love connecting with people. When I’m not working, you’ll find me at the beach, traveling, roller-skating, paddle boarding, or just soaking up island life.

Over the years, I’ve worked on hundreds of events—weddings, proms, fashion shows, and photoshoots. These days, I work out of my home studio and specialize in hair color, cuts, and balayage.
